Though considerd to be a “fatty” fish it is still fish nevertheless and is a healthy alternative to red meats or pork. Perhaps it is the fatty aspect of it that makes it so savory and flavorful…
Here is a recipe that is sure to please the palate of any fish loving fan!
Honey Ginger Salmon!
1-1 1/2pounds raw salmon
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup sliced green onions
(This is the marinade, allow fish to marinate for at least 30 minutes then pan sear it.)
Honey Ginger Glaze!
1/3 cup honey 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
